Thrust Bearing

Center main bearing is thrust bearing. If crankshaft end play exceeds specification, install new thrust washer. Thrust washer oil grooves should face toward crankshaft. See CRANKSHAFT, MAIN & CONNECTING ROD BEARINGS table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS .
