Removal (900)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable and remove driver's seat. Lift shifter boot and fold carpeting back. Remove 3 gear lever console retaining screws. Lift cover and unplug ignition lock warning light. Remove cover.
  2. Remove center console. Unplug wiring connectors from ignition lock and reverse light switch. Using Remover (87 90 370), remove gear lever housing retaining screws. Raise gear lever housing slightly. Twist housing slightly to access cover plate screws. Remove cover plate. Loosen 2 ignition switch retaining screws and remove switch.
