Due to crankshaft and oil pump design changes on M85 and later engines, a new special tool has been produced for installing the front crankshaft seal.

Press Sleeve P/N 83-94-215

This sleeve replaces sleeve P/N 83-93- 340 and is being added to your list of required Saab Special Tools. One tool will automatically be sent to your dealership during September and your account charged accordingly. Upon receiving press sleeve 83-94-215, the old tool 83-93-340 should be removed from your tool crate and scrapped.

You may store the new press sleeve in your Saab tool crate labeled for the ENGINE, GENERAL. A new tool crate label is being produced and will be sent to you shortly.
