Fig. 2 Flywheel Timing Mark Alignment:

1. Rotate engine until (0) mark on flywheel is aligned with pointer, Fig. 2, and remove camshaft cover.

2. If needed, rotate engine 360° to alignment on camshaft or sprocket with mark on bearing cap, Fig. 3.
3. Remove camshaft sprocket retaining bolts, separate sprocket from and hang sprocket on chain over chain guide.
4. Remove camshaft bearing caps, noting position for reassembly, and remove camshaft.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
