Horn Pad & Steering Wheel: Removal

  1. Disconnect battery ground cable. Remove bottom cover retaining screws and cover. On 900 and 900S models, remove retaining screws from behind steering wheel. Remove pad and horn contact.
  2. On 900 Turbo and 9000 Turbo models, lift pad from spokes. Disconnect horn leads. On all models, mark steering wheel and shaft for reassembly. Remove retaining nut and washer. Remove wheel from shaft with wheel puller.
