Valve Springs: Removal

  1. Remove camshaft as previously described. Remove camshaft bearing support assembly. With cylinder head installed, take spark plug out of cylinder and fit air hose connector.
  2. Supply air pressure to keep valve from dropping into cylinder. Remove valve depressors and adjusting pallets. Use a valve compressor and remove retainers (keepers) with a magnet.
