Instrument Panel & Headlight Switch: Removal

  1. Disconnect battery ground. Remove steering wheel. Remove 4 screws under edge of instrument panel. Tilt instrument panel back.
    CAUTION: The screws are different lengths. Note positions of screws as instrument panel will be damaged by installing screws in the wrong places.
  2. Remove left speaker/defroster grille. Reach in opening and unplug wiring connectors. Disconnect speedometer cable. Remove instrument panel with switches. Remove cluster screws and remove cluster.
