Rear Brake Drum: Installation

  1. Grease bearings, and place drum in place with outer bearing, drum hub, and nut. Adjust bearings. Install castle lock nut and cotter pin.
  2. Put on grease cap filled with grease. Adjust brake shoes by pressing down on the brake pedal repeatedly. Adjust parking brake. Reinstall dust plug on backing plate.
