Ignition Switch/Column Lock: Removal

  1. Disconnect battery ground cable. Remove shroud from around switch assembly. Disconnect electrical connections. Turn ignition switch to "G" (Garage) and remove switch.

  2. Remove set screw and press in retaining catch with a small punch. Push switch body from rear to release it. See  Figure .
