Preparing Components

The preparation steps for the individual components are described in detail below, depending on the application.

The following distinction must be made between components: 

• Component with cut or pre-applied adhesive bead
• New component without adhesive bead

The following distinction must be made between vehicle flanges: 

• - Vehicle flange with cut adhesive bead
• - Vehicle flange with repair paint finish without adhesive bead

Select the required component preparation according to the application. There may be more than two application types for bonding in certain areas.
