Installation position of floorpan

1. Mark cut on the floorpan at -dimension X-  > Distance 110 mm  , starting from the last self-tapping screw - yellow-  .

   Marking cut

   Information 

   Only make cuts in the top plate. Make sure not to damage the plate underneath when doing this.

2. Make cut.
3. Remove connecting elements.

   Removing punch rivets

   1. 3.1 Remove punch rivets using > VAS 852 001 - Body Dent Removal System, Aluminium  and > VAS 6790 - Compact Booster  .

      > 5X00IN REPLACING PUNCH RIVETS AND PENETRATED JOINTS

   2. 3.2 Unscrew self-tapping screw -1-  .
4. Remove punch rivets using > VAS 852 001 - Body Dent Removal System, Aluminium  and > VAS 6790 - Compact Booster  .

   > 5X00IN REPLACING PUNCH RIVETS AND PENETRATED JOINTS

   Removing punch rivets

   Information 

   Loosen connection points on one side only. Do not damage the sheet-metal panel underneath.

5. Drill out spotwelds using > VAS 882 001 - Spot-weld remover  .

7. Remove floorpan in a downward direction.
