Installing Front Side Member (Section)

Information 

Some illustrations show the repairs on the previous model of the Panamera as an example since the procedure is identical.

1. Apply adhesive to the sub-part and to the side member.

   Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface. > Application depth 0.5 mm 

   Working with body structural adhesive

2. Apply adhesive to the side member.

   Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface. > Application depth 0.5 mm

   1. 2.1 Also apply a bead of adhesive to the front edge. > Application depth 5 mm 
3. Position sub-part on the side member using the straightening bracket.

4. Screw in self-tapping screws > Torx screw 000.043.207.60  and tighten to the required tightening torque. > Tightening torque 9.5 Nm ((7 ftlb.) +/- 1 Nm ((0.5 ftlb.)
