Installing Spring Strut Mount

1. Install spring strut mount and check that it fits perfectly.

   Information 

   • Before final assembly, make sure you fully understand all the work steps involved and carry out a trial assembly without applying adhesive. 
   • The bonding process can only be carried out reliably when a smooth and swift sequence of operations is guaranteed. 
   • Do not begin bonding work until all materials and tools necessary for later repair work are available. 
2. Apply adhesive on the joint area of the body.

   Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface. > Application depth 0.5 mm

3. Apply adhesive on spring strut mount.

   Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface. > Application depth 0.5 mm

   1. 3.1 Also apply an adhesive bead of sealant all around the bonding surface. > Application depth 3 mm 
4. Rivet in spring strut mount. > BLIND RIVETS 999.190.227.01

6. Screw in self-tapping screws.

7. Re-connect ground connection between the longitudinal member and spring strut mount by applying a full weld using inert gas.
