Installing Valve Unit

Information 

The cutting ring -1-  and Voss threaded joint -2-  must remain on the air line -3-  .

Air line

Information 

Check the following before installing the air line:

• Check that the cutting ring -1-  and Voss threaded joint -2-  are on the air line -3-  (not relevant if the valve unit was replaced and the pre-fitted Voss threaded joint is used).
• Check that the air line is fitted correctly.

Checking air line

Only one marking -1-  on the air line should be visible.

Pull the air line briefly against the insertion direction. If it cannot be pulled out, the air line is fitted correctly.

Air line fitted correctly

1. Secure new valve unit -1-  to holder -2-  .

   Valve unit

   1. 1.1 Position new valve unit -1-  on valve unit holder -2-  .
   2. 1.2 Screw in and tighten screws -3-  .

      > Tightening torque 4.5 Nm 

2. Secure valve unit holder -1-  .

   Valve unit holder

   1. 2.1 Position valve unit holder -1-  .
   2. 2.2 Screw in and tighten screws -4-  .

      > Tightening torque 4.5 Nm 

   3. 2.3 Screw in and tighten connecting line from the compressor to the valve unit -2-  .

      > Tightening torque 3.5 Nm 

   4. 2.4 Clip in clips -3-  .
