- Install new
crankshaft sealing ring (flywheel side).
- 135955 Replacing crankshaft sealing ring - flywheel side (V6 turbo)
- Install flywheel.
- 136019 Removing and installing flywheel (V6 turbo)
- Install pulse sender.
- 287319 Removing and installing pulse sender (V6 turbo)
- Install upper chain housing cover.
- 153319 Removing and installing upper chain housing cover (V6 turbo)
- Only after removing upper chain housing cover on right cylinder bank:
Install additional coolant pump holder -1- .
- 1.1
Position additional coolant pump holder -1-
, fit double screw securing holder to chain housing cover -3-
and tighten it.
- Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)
- 1.2
Fit and tighten screws securing additional coolant pump to holder -2-
.
- Tightening torque 1.5 Nm (1 ftlb.)
Additional coolant pump (right cylinder bank)
- 1.1
Position additional coolant pump holder -1-
, fit double screw securing holder to chain housing cover -3-
and tighten it.
- For engine with particle filter
Install particle filter.
- 267419 Removing and installing particle filter
- For engine without particle filter
Install catalytic converter.
- 267319 Removing and installing catalytic converter
- Install the engine.
- 100119 Removing and installing engine
- Fill up coolant.
- 193817 Draining and filling coolant
