Installing Front Drive Shaft

Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:

1.1 Grease splines with a little Optimoly TA aluminium paste and insert drive shaft. When doing this, press the inner joint together fully.
1.2 Replace drive shaft screws -2- .

1.3 Tighten drive shaft screws -2- .

> Initial - tightening 30 Nm (22 ftlb.)

> Final tightening + 90°

1.4 Screw in the centre screw first in order to position the heat protection panel.

Tighten screws on heat protection panel at the right -2- .

> Tightening - torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)
