Removing Antenna Control Unit

Information 

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!

• Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work. 
• Do not remove new parts from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation. 
• Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts.

The number of plug connections can vary, depending on equipment.

NOTIFICATION 

Voltage peaks 

• Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit 
  1. → Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 5 m).
  2. → Switch off electrical loads before disconnecting or removing them.

1. Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 2 m).
2. Loosen antenna control unit.

   Antenna control unit

   1. 2.1  Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1-  from antenna control unit -2-  .
   2. 2.2  Unscrew fastening screw -4-  .
3. Swivel antenna control unit out and pull it to the left and out of the tailgate.
