Removing Antenna Control Unit

- Always wear approved work clothes and shoes when carrying out assembly work.
- Do not remove new parts from ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging until shortly before installation.
- Do not touch electric pins and plug contacts.

The number of plug connections can vary, depending on equipment.
NOTIFICATION
Voltage peaks
- Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit
- → Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 5 m).
- → Switch off electrical loads before disconnecting or removing them.
- Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 2 m).
- Loosen antenna control unit.
Antenna control unit
- 2.1 Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1- from antenna control unit -2- .
- 2.2 Unscrew fastening screw -4- .
- Swivel antenna control unit out and pull it to the left and out of the tailgate.
