Installing Position Sensor

Position sensor on transmission, bottom

1. 1.1 Plug in cable plug -2-  on bottom position sensor -1-  and check that it is locked.
2. 1.2 Fit and tighten screws -3-  .

> Tightening torque 6 Nm (4.5 ftlb.) 

Information 

• The top position sensor on the transmission can be accessed from the luggage compartment after removing the round body cover  .

Make sure that the screws do not fall onto the final drive  .

1. 2.1 Plug in cable plug -2-  on top position sensor -1-  and check that it is locked.
2. 2.2 Fit and tighten screws -3-  .

   > Tightening torque 6 Nm (1.5 ftlb.)
