Subsequent Work
- Lower the vehicle.
- Only if air is filled into one air spring:
Activate height control.
- 2.1 Connect the PIWIS Tester to the vehicle and switch on the PIWIS Tester .
- 2.2 Establish operational readiness/switch on ignition.
- 2.3 Start diagnostics.
- 2.4 Select "Chassis control" control unit.
- 2.5 Select the "Maintenance/repairs" tab.
- 2.6 Select the menu item "Replacement work on the air spring system" and press F12 to continue.
- 2.7 Select the "Replacement of an air spring" function and press F12 to continue.
- 2.8 Select the "Activation of height control" function and press F12 to continue.
- 2.9 Follow the instructions on the Tester.
- Only if air is filled into the air suspension system:
Activate height control.
- 3.1 Connect the PIWIS Tester to the vehicle and switch on the PIWIS Tester .
- 3.2 Establish operational readiness/switch on ignition.
- 3.3 Start diagnostics.
- 3.4 Select "Chassis control" control unit.
- 3.5 Select the "Maintenance/repairs" tab.
- 3.6 Select the menu item "Replacement work on the air spring system" and press F12 to continue.
- 3.7 Select the "Bleeding and filling the entire air spring system" function and press F12 to continue.
- 3.8 Select the "Activation of height control" function and press F12 to continue.
- 3.9 Follow the instructions on the Tester.
- Disconnect battery charger from the vehicle.
