Releasing Air From One Air Spring

Information 

This function is used for bleeding when working on an air spring or the lines of an air spring (without any loss of system air). The air from up to two air-spring struts can be stored in the pressure accumulator.

  1. Release air from one air spring.
    1. 1.1 Connect the PIWIS Tester  to the vehicle and switch it on.
    2. 1.2 Establish operational readiness/switch on ignition.
    3. 1.3 Start diagnostics.
    4. 1.4 Select "Chassis control PASM"  control unit.
    5. 1.5 Select the "Maintenance/repairs"  tab.
    6. 1.6 Select the menu item "Replacement work on the air spring system"  and press F12 to continue.
    7. 1.7 Select the "Replacement of an air spring"  function and press F12 to continue.
    8. 1.8 Select the "Bleeding an air spring"  function and press F12 to continue.
    9. 1.9 Follow the other instructions on the Tester.
