Installing Balance Shaft (V6 Turbo)

- Move balance shaft -1-
into installation position and attach the balance weight -2-
to the balance shaft -1-
. The milled surface -arrow
on the balance weight must be seated on the milled surface on the balance shaft.

- Fit end plate -2-
for balance shaft -3-
.
- 2.1 Fit new seal for end plate -2-
.
- 2.2 Fit thrust washer -4-
on the balance shaft -3-
.
- 2.3 Position end plate -2-
, fit new screws -1-
and tighten to > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)
