Risk of contaminating the lubricating system

Cover open parts of the cylinder head.

Disconnect positive crankcase ventilation hose -1- and set it aside.

Remove oil/water heat exchanger -3- .

2.1 Unscrew and remove screws -2- .

Cover open parts of the oil cooler.
2.2 Loosen oil/water heat exchanger -3- from the bonding and remove it.
