Removing Brake Booster Vacuum Pump

CAUTION: Hot components 
  • Risk of burns 

    → Let hot components cool down.

    → Wear personal protective gear.

  1. Loosen pressure converter -2-  from the holder -3-  and set it aside with lines connected.

  2. Unscrew screws -4-  and move holder -5-  with vacuum lines aside.

  3. Disconnect plug connection -6-  and move brake booster line -7-  aside.

  4. Disconnect vacuum hose -8-  from brake booster vacuum pump.

    Information 

    Place a suitable cloth underneath to catch escaping oil when pulling off the vacuum pump.

  5. Unscrew screws -9-  and remove brake booster vacuum pump -1-  .
