Removing DME Control Unit

NOTE: Voltage peaks 
  • Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit 

    → Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.

  1. Remove retaining clip -2-  from DME control unit holder.

  2. Remove cable holder for electric wire harness -3-  and unclip wire harness from DME control unit holder -arrows-  .

  3. Unscrew screws -4-  and guide holder -5-  with DME control unit -1-  out of the bracket.
    IMPORTANT: Danger of injury from sharp edges on holder.

  4. Release and disconnect electric plug connections -6-  on the DME control unit -1-  .

  5. Unscrew screws -7-  and remove DME control unit -1-  from the holder -5-  .
