Removing Cylinder Head (Left Cylinder Bank)

  1. Remove coolant pipe -2-  .
    1. 1.1 Unscrew screws for coolant pipe -1-  .
    2. 1.2 Remove coolant pipe -2-  .

  2. Remove coolant control valve -3-  .
    1. 2.1 Pull off vacuum hose -1-  .
    2. 2.2 Unscrew screws on coolant control valve -2-  and pull coolant control valve -3-  off the coolant pipe -4-  .

  3. Remove guide for oil dipstick -1-  by unscrewing screw -2-  and pulling guide for oil dipstick -1-  up out of the crankcase cover -arrow-  .

  4. Remove vacuum line -1-  by unscrewing screw -2-  and pulling the line connection out of the cylinder head.

  5. Remove coolant line -1-  by unscrewing screw -2-  and pulling the line connection out of the cylinder head.

  6. Remove cylinder head.
    1. 6.1 Unscrew screws on cylinder head in the sequence -10 to 1-  .
    2. 6.2 Remove cylinder head.
