Subsequent Work

- Remove all staking tools.
- Fit stoppers on camshafts -1-
.
- 2.1 Insert stoppers on camshafts -1- .
- 2.2 Fit screws for stoppers -1- and tighten to > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.) .
Stoppers on camshafts.
- Fit screw plug in bore for crankshaft locking pin and tighten it.
Old variant with O-ring - replace O-ring : > Tightening torque 25 Nm (18.4 ftlb.)
New variant with micro-encapsulation - Use new screw plug : > Tightening torque 40 Nm (29.5 ftlb.)
- Only for V6 monoturbo:
Install intake distributor centre.
> Removing and installing centre intake-air distributor (V6 monoturbo)
- Install brake booster vacuum pump.
- Install upper chain housing cover.
