Removing Bypass Flap Control Box

Information 

The procedure for removing and installing is described for one side as an example. The procedure for the other side is almost identical.

  1. Remove control box.
    1. 1.1 Pull off vacuum hose -4-  .
    2. 1.2 Release and disconnect electric plug connection for recirculating air valve -3-  . Expose wiring harness and press it aside.
    3. 1.3 Pull off retaining spring -1-  and pull control rod off the actuating lever on the turbocharger.
    4. 1.4 Unscrew nuts -Arrows-  and remove control box.
