Installing Control Unit For Tyre Pressure Monitoring (TPM)

Information
Before installing the control unit for Tyre Pressure Monitoring (TPM), check the component and electric plug connection for:
- Damage to the housing.
- Damage to the contacts on the control unit.
- Damage to the connector and contacts on the vehicle wire harness.
- Dirty contacts.
If the control unit is damaged, replace it.
If the wire harness is damaged, repair connectors or contacts in accordance with the relevant safety instructions.
If the contacts are dirty, clean them.
- Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
Tightening torque for screws on TPM control unit holder: > Tightening torque 8 Nm (5.9 ftlb.)
