Information
The vacuum pump supplies the necessary vacuum for the following components and functions:
- On vehicles with sports exhaust system (I-no. 0P8): Sports flap exhaust system (secondary load).
- On US vehicles (C02): Tank leak test (secondary load).
- Wastegate control (secondary load).
- Brake booster (main load - large connection)
Any defects that occur in the specified systems may be caused by a faulty vacuum pump. To determine the exact cause of the fault and prevent repeat repairs as a result of replacing components based on suspected defects, the function of the vacuum pump must be checked.
