Installing Brake Booster

  1. Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:

    Information 

    Make sure not to damage the push rod boot when installing the brake booster.

    Always replace the seal between the brake booster and body.

  2. Install brake booster.
    1. 2.1 Replace seal.
    2. 2.2 Carefully guide the push rod of the brake booster into the opening on the bulkhead.
  3. Screw in and tighten nuts on the brake booster. >Tightening torque 23 Nm (17 ftlb.) + 2 Nm (1.5 ftlb.) 
  4. Screw in and tighten nuts on the brake lines. >Tightening torque 18 Nm (13 ftlb.)
