Teaching Steering Lock Settings

Information
- If the steering gear is replaced, the steering lock settings must be taught.
- The steering lock settings are cleared after calibrating the steering-angle sensor and must be re-taught.
- Connect the PIWIS Tester to the vehicle and start the PIWIS Tester. Switch on ignition
- Start the diagnostic software.
- Select control unit Power-steering.
- Select the Maintenance/repairs tab.
- Press F12 to select Commissioning.
- Follow the instructions on the Tester.
