Removing Radiator: Notes

Information
- Some repairs are shown only on one side of the vehicle.
- Some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well.
- Open coupling -1-
and pull off coolant line -2-
.
Coolant line
- For the V6 Monoturbo:
Loosen clamp -1- , pull pressure hose -2- off the left and right charge-air coolers and set it aside.

- Lift up retaining clip -1-
using > T10118 - assembly tool
and disconnect coolant hose -2-
.

- Release and disconnect electric plug connection -1-
on the coolant temperature sensor.

- Lift up retaining clip -1-
using > T10118 - assembly tool
and disconnect coolant hose -2-

- Unclip refrigerant line -1-
from holder -2-

Refrigerant line
- Pull the radiator -1-
forward out of the vehicle.
Cooler
- When replacing components:
Remove coolant distributor tubes.
- 8.1 Lift up retaining clips -1- using > T10118 - assembly tool .
- 8.2 Unscrew screws -2- and remove coolant distributor tubes -3- .

- When replacing components:
Unscrew screws -1- and pull bracket -2- up off the radiator.
