Removing Cooling Fan Housing (Radiator Frame)

WARNING: Electrically moved components 
  • Danger of limbs being trapped or severed 

    → Switch off electric power to drive motor.

    → Make sure it does not switch on again.

    → Check that there is no electric charge.

  1. Disconnect electric line for the cover latch at the cooling fan housing.
  2. Release and disconnect electric plug connection for electric fan -1-  .

  3. Unclip electric plug connection -2-  from cooling fan housing (radiator frame) -3-  .

  4. Remove expansion rivets -1-  from air guide on cooling fan housing (radiator frame) -2-  .

  5. Disengage lower air guide -1-  from cooling fan housing (radiator frame) -Arrow-  and move it towards the engine.

  6. Unscrew screws -1-  on cooling fan housing (radiator frame) -2-  and release the tab at the left and right -Arrow-  .

  7. Guide out cooling fan housing (radiator frame) -2-  by moving it downwards.
