Removing Control Unit For Distance Measuring Sensor

NOTE: Voltage peaks 
  • Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit 

    → Switch off ignition and keep transmitter key outside of the transmission range (at least 5 m).

    → Switch off electrical loads before disconnecting or removing them.

Information 

The distance measuring sensor control unit is integrated into the right ACC sensor and cannot be removed separately.

  1. Remove control unit for distance measuring sensor -2-  .

    Removing control unit for distance measuring sensor

    1. 1.1 Unscrew and remove screws -1-  .
    2. 1.2 Loosen control unit for distance measuring sensor -2-  until the electric plug connection -3-  is accessible.
    3. 1.3 Release and disconnect electric plug connection -3-  .
