Installing Oil Spray Jet

Risk of damage to oil spray jets:
- Do not bend oil spray jet.
- After re-installing the pistons, check that the oil spray jet has sufficient clearance.
- Bent oil spray jets must be replaced.

Risk of damage to oil spray valves:
- Do not bend oil spray jets.
- Bent oil spray valves must be replaced.
- Installation is performed in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the following:
- 1.1 Replace and tighten screws on oil spray jet following removal.
> Initial tightening 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
> Final tightening + 45°
- 1.2 Tighten screws on oil windage tray in diagonally opposite sequence.
> Initial tightening 3 Nm (2 ftlb.)
> Final tightening + 90°
- 1.1 Replace and tighten screws on oil spray jet following removal.
