Removing Trailer Hitch Motor

  1. Unscrew screws -1-  on the trailer hitch housing.

  2. Open the trailer hitch housing by turning it -arrow A-  and pull it apart -Arrows-  .

  3. Release electric plug connections on the trailer hitch motor -arrows a-  and disconnect them -arrows A-  .

  4. Remove lower trailer hitch housing section.
  5. Remove bevel gear.
    1. 5.1 Screw off nut > Unscrewing nut  .

    2. 5.2 Mark installation position of the shaft.
    3. 5.3 Remove bevel gear.
  6. Remove trailer hitch motor.
    1. 6.1 Remove circlip -2-  .
    2. 6.2 Unscrew and remove screws -1-  .
    3. 6.3 Remove trailer hitch motor.
