Installing Trailer Hitch Motor

Secure trailer hitch motor.
1. 1.1 Position trailer hitch motor.
2. 1.2 Screw in and tighten screws -1- > Tightening torque 3 Nm (2 ftlb.)

  Check circlip and replace it if necessary.
3. 1.3 Fit circlip -2- .

Tightening trailer hitch motor
Install new bevel gear.
1. 2.1 Align the bevel gear in such a way that screws and markings are aligned.
2. 2.2 Screw in and tighten nut > Screwing in and tightening nut > Tightening torque 6 Nm (4.5 ftlb.)

Install lower trailer hitch housing section.
Plug in electric plug connections on the trailer hitch motor -arrows A- .

Connecting electric plug connections
Push the trailer hitch housing together -Arrows- and turn -arrow A- to lock it.

Locking trailer hitch housing
Screw in and tighten screws -1- on the trailer hitch housing > Tightening torque 5 Nm (3.5 ftlb.)
