Installing Rear Spoiler

Information

The rear spoiler must be extended for installation .

Pull wire harness for rear spoiler through the relevant opening in the lid panel.
Fit rear spoiler -1- .

Fitting rear spoiler
Centre the rear spoiler in the recess.
Secure rear spoiler.
1. 4.1 Screw in nuts -5- and tighten hand-tight.
2. 4.2 Screw in screws -4- and tighten hand-tight.

Securing rear spoiler
Secure wire harness -1- .
1. 5.1 Clip in retaining clips -3- .
2. 5.2 Connect electric plug connection -2- until it engages securely.

WARNING:
Electrically moved components
- Danger of limbs being trapped or severed
  → Switch off electric power to drive motor.
  
  → Make sure it does not switch on again.
  
  → Check that there is no electric charge.
Retract rear spoiler using > 9900 - PIWIS Tester 3 .
Adjust the rear spoiler.

Secure rear spoiler.
1. 8.1 Tighten nuts -5- > Tightening torque 8 Nm (5.9 ftlb.)
2. 8.2 Tighten screws -4- > Tightening torque 8 Nm (5.9 ftlb.)
