Removing Expansion Valve

→ Observe the instructions for repairing air-conditioning systems and storing spare parts.

Information

Before re-installing the component, check the O-rings on the refrigerant lines for damage and replace them if necessary.

The O-rings on the refrigerant lines must be coated with refrigerant oil.

All refrigerant lines and connections must be closed off using suitable stoppers during removal.

Stoppers for lines and connections must not be opened until shortly before installation.

Have suitable stoppers ready for closing off the line connections.
Remove refrigerant line -2- .
1. 2.1 Unscrew screw on refrigerant line -1- .
2. 2.2 Disconnect line connection and close it off using a stopper.
3. 2.3 Move refrigerant line -2- aside.
