Removing Additional Pump

NOTE:
Danger of scalding
- Coolant can be very hot.
- Coolant may be pressurised.
→ Only remove the heater when the cooling system has cooled down.
→ By carefully opening the catch on the reservoir, make sure that the cooling system is depressurised.
NOTE:
Danger of slipping due to emerging coolant
- The emerging coolant will make the floor of the workshop slippery and may cause people to slip and fall over.
→ Collect emerging coolant in a suitable pan.
- Observe safety measures for working on vehicles with auxiliary heating.

- Close off hose -1- and hoses -2- using > V.A.G 1275A - hose clamp pliers .
- Open spring band clamps -3-
using > VAS 6889 - spring band clamp pliers
and disconnect hoses -1-
