Removing Heat EXCHANGER Supply Hose

  1. Pull off -Arrow-  hose holder -1-  .

    Pulling off hose holder

    Information 

    After disconnecting the heat exchanger supply hose, close off the heat exchanger connection using a suitable stopper.

  2. Disconnect heat exchanger supply hose -2-  .

    Disconnecting heat exchanger supply hose

    1. 2.1 Loosen spring band clamp -1-  using > VAS 6890 - spring band clamps pliers  .
    2. 2.2 Pull off heat exchanger supply hose -2-  .
    3. 2.3 Loosen spring band clamp -1-  using > VAS 6890 - spring band clamps pliers  .
    4. 2.4 Pull off heat exchanger supply hose -2-  .

      Disconnecting heat exchanger supply hose

  3. Remove fixing clip -1-  .

    Fixing clip for heat exchanger hose

    1. 3.1 Lever fixing clip -1-  off the firewall -Arrow-  .
    2. 3.2 Use a new fixing clip for installation.
  4. Guide heat exchanger supply hose -1-  up and out.

  1. Release and pull off hose holder -1-  on heat exchanger supply hose -2-  .

  2. Remove fixing clip -1-  .

    Fixing clip for heat exchanger hose

    1. 2.1 Lever fixing clip -1-  off the firewall -Arrow-  .
    2. 2.2 Use a new fixing clip for installation.

      Information 

      After disconnecting the heat exchanger supply hose, close off the heat exchanger connection using a suitable stopper.

  3. Remove heat exchanger supply hose -2-  .
    1. 3.1 Loosen spring band clamp -1-  using > VAS 6890 - spring band clamps pliers. 
    2. 3.2 Pull off the hose -2-  .

  4. Remove heat exchanger supply hose -2-  .
    1. 4.1 Loosen spring band clamp -1-  using > VAS 6890 - spring band clamps pliers  .
    2. 4.2 Pull off the hose -2-  .
