Removing Side Rear Spoiler Trim

WARNING: Electrically moved components

Danger of limbs being trapped or severed
→ Switch off electric power to drive motor.

→ Make sure it does not switch on again.

→ Check that there is no electric charge.

Information

Some repairs are shown only on one side of the vehicle.
The steps are identical for the opposite side of the vehicle.

Extend the rear spoiler using > 9900 - PIWIS Tester 3 until the wings are at the highest position.
Switch off ignition and remove remote control (hand-held transmitter).
Pull tab washers -1- off the axles -2- using a suitable tool -arrows- .

Use M3 screw or pull-out hammer/slide hammer with M3 thread.
screw -1- into axle -2- and pull out axle -2- (-arrow- ).
