Adjusting Lock Peg (Striker Pin)

Adjusting element for striker pin

  1. Loosen fastening screws -2-  .
  2. Move striker pin outwards.

    Adjusting lock peg (striker pin)

    1. 2.1 Move lock peg -1-  outwards using > VAS 6965 - slide hammer kit  .
  3. Adjust the lock peg back/down/up.

    Adjusting lock peg (striker pin)

    1. 3.1 Move the lock peg -1-  to the required position using a plastic hammer.
  4. Carefully close the door and check that the lock peg is positioned correctly with respect to the lock.
  5. Screw in and tighten fastening screws -2-  to > Tightening torque 25 Nm (19 ftlb.)  .
