Adjusting Lock Peg (Striker Pin)

Adjusting element for striker pin

  1. Move lock peg -1-  outwards.

    Adjusting lock peg (striker pin)

    1. 1.1 Loosen screws -2-  .
    2. 1.2 Move lock peg -1-  outwards using > VAS 6965 - Puller set  .
  2. Adjust the lock peg -1-  back/down/up.

    Adjusting lock peg (striker pin)

    1. 2.1 Move the lock peg -1-  to the required position using a plastic hammer.
    2. 2.2 Carefully close the door and check that the lock peg -1-  is positioned correctly with respect to the lock.
    3. 2.3 Tighten screws -2-  > Tightening torque 25 Nm (19 ftlb.)
