Subsequent Work

Fit strut -1- and screw in and tighten screws -2- .
Tightening torque for screw securing strut to door sill: > Initial tightening 50 Nm (36.9 ftlb.) + > Final tightening + 45°

Tightening torque for screw securing strut to front-axle carrier: > Initial tightening 70 Nm (51.6 ftlb.) + > Final tightening + 180°

Installing strut
Tighten three nuts -2- on the front underbody cover in the right strut area to the specified tightening torque > Tightening torque 2.5 Nm (1.75 ftlb.)

Removing cover for front underbody
Install right side section of cover for centre underbody.

Remove front wheel housing liner at the right (rear section).
