Removing Glove Compartment Lock

NOTE: Lock cylinder removed and installed incorrectly

Loss of small parts
Risk of damage to lock cylinder
→ Remove and install lock cylinder only with the key inserted.

Lift the handle -arrow- .

Information

The rubber stop on the handle can loosen or fall out when removing the safety clip.

Fit rubber stop again correctly.
Remove safety clip -2- from lock -1- .
1. 2.1 > 3438 - Hook -3- must now be guided into the groove on the handle -arrow A- .
2. 2.2 Remove safety clip -2- completely -arrow B- .

Remove lock.

3.1 Remove emergency key -4- from the driver's key.

3.2 Insert emergency key -4- into the glove compartment lock.
