Installing 48-Volt Auxiliary Battery

  1. Fit 48-volt additional battery in the boot floor plate and move it against the stop -arrow-  .

  2. Fit the securing frame -5-  and secure it with the four fastening screws -4-  > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)

  3. If installed, insert the battery vent line -3-  into the 48-volt additional battery. Check the battery vent line for damage and correct routing.

  4. Connect electric connector -6-  to the 48-volt additional battery until the connector engages securely.
  5. Fit the two electric lines on the battery terminals and secure them with the fastening nuts -2-  > Tightening torque 8 Nm (6 ftlb.) 
  6. Fit and lock the two terminal caps on the 48-volt additional battery.
  7. Position air duct correctly.
