Installing Oil/Water Heat EXCHANGER

→ Wear protective goggles.

Information

Risk of contaminating the lubricating system

Cover open parts of the cylinder head.

Install new seals -4- .

Replace seals
Remove residual sealant from oil/water heat exchanger and cylinder block using a rotating plastic brush.
Cut off the nozzle on the tube at the front marking (nozzle diameter is approx. 1.5 mm).
Information

Install oil cooler within 5 minutes.
Apply a bead of sealant all around the cleaned and degreased sealing face -5- > Application depth 3 mm

Applying sealant
Further installation is performed in reverse order.
Screw in and tighten screws > Tightening torque 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.)
