Removing Cylinder Head

- Remove coolant lines.
- 1.1 Unscrew screws -1- and remove coolant line -2- .
- 1.2 Unscrew screw -3- and nut -4- and remove coolant line -5- .

- Cylinder bank 1-4:
Remove chain tensioner and collar axle for guide rail.
- 2.1 Unscrew collar axle -1- .
- 2.2 Unscrew screws -2- and remove chain tensioner -3- .
Chain tensioner and collar axle, 1-4
- Cylinder bank 5-8:
Remove chain tensioner and loosen guide rail.
- 3.1 Unscrew and remove screw -1- .
- 3.2 Unscrew screws -2- and remove chain tensioner -3- .
Chain tensioner 5-8
Information
- Be careful - cylinder heads are heavy.
- Remove cylinder head.
- 4.1 Loosen and unscrew screws in reverse order to the tightening sequence -11 to 1- .
- 4.2 Remove cylinder head and dispose of cylinder head gasket.
- 4.3 Carefully clean the sealing faces.
