Removing Drive Belt For Generator

Information 

The belt tensioner must not be turned as far as the stop due to risk of damage to the dust boot.

  1. Relieve tension on drive belt for generator.
    1. 1.1 Position Torx wrench T55 -1-  on the belt tensioner -2-  , turn it anti-clockwise and remove the drive belt.
    2. 1.2 Carefully allow the belt tensioner -2-  to turn back to its original position.

  2. Guide out drive belt for generator -3-  and remove it.
  3. Check pulleys for damage.
